Coping With Demand

Junkyard Golf’s growth since they opened is indicative of the footfall the venues see over the five sites. Junkyard Golf welcomes tens of thousands of customers every week so they required infrastructure which can cope with the operational demand presented by the popular venues.
Challenging Venues

Shopping Centre Location

Junkyard Golf opened in Oxford’s West Gate shopping centre in late 2017. The Westgate Westgate Oxford) is a major shopping centre in Oxford city centre that was extensively remodelled and extended between 2016–17. Korubu was tasked with installing connectivity in a brand new commercial unit.
Cisco Meraki

Next Generation WiFi

Meraki MR Access Points, enable in depth visibility of Junkyard Golf’s wireless network, for troubleshooting when required. Using Meraki enables Junkyard to be WiFi software agnostic, allowing easy changes to their network.
The Result

Smart Hospitality

Using ethernet, means that the connectivity at each venue is exclusively for Junkyard Golf– no other businesses share the connection. So, when demand peaks for critical services like Card Payments, Epos and WiFi service and operations can run smoothly and efficiently.
