Located on Manchesters Peter Street in the city centre, Impossible opened in 2017 following a £3 million fitout to the old Bar 38 site.
The restaurant’s interiors are inspired by creator Aaron Mellor’s travels, as well as paying homage to famous Mancunians. The restaurant/bar is home to a hidden gin palace that serves 63 types of gin and has a cryogenic freezer, meaning spirits can be frozen to make edible cocktails. Other unusual touches include a molecular cocktail laboratory which will have an alcoholic mist condenser and a lickable Champagne bubble machine.
Downstairs features the ‘Theatre Du Impossible’, which is set to be an immersive nightlife experience with a catwalk, theatre and private VIP areas. On the ground floor, there is a restaurant operating from 12pm – 9pm, and along with classic dishes will serve unusual bites such as kangaroo tacos and salt and pepper crickets.
